Lots of activity this Christmas. New babies add lots of running around and cute pix. See the Christmas 2008 photo album.
Our family visited Beth and Grandpa L. on Christmas eve with Sean, Bree and Keenan. Some pix in our gallery, but also see the photos on Beth's blog. She put together a tricky slide show with Santa!
We also went over to Grandma and Grandpa E's place on Christmas day and swarmed around, about twenty of us, chowing down and opening presents. Even had a little fashion show - see the pix.
Dan and John managed to get in a little fishing, and came away with a pretty good prize.
You can read more about the adventure in Dan's posting on the fishing site he visits a lot. Note that some sailors there are, um, salty.
We even had crazy weather here for a few days - cold enough overnight to put frost on the grass and on the cars' windshields. Must've been below freezing with the wind, but in calm air maybe 38 or 39. Or course, a few days later it's in the 70's again. See the photos in the album.
Good to see Kathy and Robert could make it this year. He just graduated from University of Texas (Longhorns) and is about to start a new engineering job.
Got a call too from Glen Sr. in Nebraska, where they had real snow that sticks on the ground. Phone got passed to just about everybody - wondered who paid for that call.
Suppose I should mention that a certain large-eared fellow did something real nice for Granpa Bob for his birthday. Beth apparently pulled some strings to get this to happen.

Enjoyed the pics. That is one big fish! Those are some pretty cute babies. :-)
